Meta data handling tools and how to use them to improve your understanding of how you take photos. For example, do you need a full frame dSLR if you always crop? Probably not.

Garden Photographer of the Year
Guess who got the dates mixed up and missed the deadline. There’s always next year. Has anyone else entered this one?

Ooh, that worked! See a comment thread on Pete Ashton’s blog for the idea and the impetus. He’s very cleverly got his del.icio.us links for his award winning Created in Birmingham to come up as an inline blog post instead of a list in the sidebar. He calls it a News River, which is a lovely metaphor, but here it’s called Finds. The del.icio.us tags in this post become redundant, since they aren’t needed to drive the info to the site: more minor fiddling and it’ll run semi-automagically once every 24 hours, as a list of the useful things I’ve come across that day.
That’s so very pleasing.

Pleasure. There’s a post in the offing with stuff about Seamus and all the other photobooth info gathered since. Did you know for example, that there’s a how-to on Instructables? —>>>
